FALCONS is an amalgamation of many things, a boiling pot of styles and genre-free influence. It consists of Vancouver/ Oakland based musicians TightMike and KayleoStocko, whose musical tastes range from world music to southern rap, and everything in between. The only rules are to push the boundaries of conventional r&b, rap, and electronic music, exploring new directions, but never losing site of the dancefloor.

Performed at parties such as; Low End Theory SF, Boiler Room LA, and have opened up for DaM-FunK, Bok-Bok, and Brainfeeder tour (Mono/Poly).

Simon Ho aka Cedaa is one of the most prominent young artists coming out of the Pacific Northwest’s bass music scene. His moody but saccharine soundscapes provide the perfect soundtrack for the upper west coast, as if he made music for a secret club deep in a dark, damp forest where 808 drums bang loudly through the night.

His affair with Chicago’s hyperlocalized juke and footwork sound resulted in scrambled drum patterns, held together by sweet synth melodies and unorthodox samples such as basketball squeaks, dolphin clicks, and pill bottle rattles.

His debut single for label Car Crash Set Tiffany brought his attention to DJs in the UK and stateside, no doubt helping him secure gigs all over the US, including Austin’s SXSW, San Francisco’s Icee Hott, and speaking on a panel in his home state’s Decibel festival. Magazines such as the Fader and XlR8R have championed his work, and he has played alongside critically acclaimed DJs such as Addison Groove, DJ MikeQ, Dubbel Dutch, and Jess Jubilee. His most recent highlight is becoming part of LA-based DJ Kingdom’s Fade to Mind label, where his next release will surface. Only 21 years old, Cedaa’s resume proves he is off to a strong start, and is already a force to be reckoned with in the studio and on the dancefloor.
